These terms govern your use of BLR Piston's bike servicing (the “Service”), operated from our workshop in Gottigere, Bengaluru, Karnataka, and booked through blrpiston.in. By creating an account or booking a service, you accept these terms.
1. Your account
You sign in with your email address — we send a one-time code, there are no passwords. Creating an account requires your name and a working mobile number the workshop can call about your bike. One account per email and per mobile number. Keep your email inbox secure: anyone who can read your email can sign in as you. Keep your contact details current — all service communication depends on them.
2. Communication
We communicate by email: sign-in codes, the post-inspection quote, the invoice and payment link, and your payment receipt. Everything also appears on your booking page when signed in. The workshop may call your mobile when a conversation is faster. While your account is active you agree to receive these transactional emails — they are the service working, not marketing.
3. Booking, quotes and pricing
Booking costs nothing and takes no payment. We inspect your bike at the workshop, email you a quote, and start work only after you approve it. The final invoice is raised in Zoho Books, itemises labour and parts, and is subject to 18% GST. You pay via the secure Zoho Books payment link or at the workshop — we never see or store card or UPI details.
4. Cancellation
Cancellations made 2+ hours before the slot are free. Within 2 hours, a 30% cancellation fee applies. No-shows are charged 50%. Full details, including refunds for completed work, are in our refund & cancellation policy.
5. Your bike
Provide accurate bike details (including the registration plate) when booking, and remove valuables before drop-off. Once we email that your bike is ready, please collect it promptly.
6. Liability
Damage caused by us during service is covered up to the replacement value of the affected component. We are not responsible for pre-existing faults, wear items, or items left with the bike.
7. Disputes
Any dispute is governed by Indian law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka.
